So I guess I'm doing this now! Those who know me know I don't craft.  Like, at all.  In fact, I would find every excuse in the book to try to get myself out of our MOPS craft activity knowing I would only ruin whatever I touched.  But then we moved here to Ohio after five years in Michigan. Into an old house. With a garage full of old wood. In a town full of renovations.  Old windows, old furniture, old wood were all around just begging for a new purpose.  And if our time in Michigan taught us anything, it was that anything broken - and I mean ANYTHING - can be repurposed, made new, and made beautiful.  And so I got to hobbying.  In the process I realized this this may be the first time in nine years that I've done anything that actually had an end point.  Like a for sure, not-going-to-be-undone-in-five-minutes end point.  And it feels good.  So anyway, here it is.  But much like crafting in and of itself used to be the hurdle for me, admitting to crafting and actually sharing what I've made is my next one.  Cuz, like, it's kind of nerve wracking to put your stuff out there and risk people not liking it.  But, I've also realized that if I don't put it out there I will quickly have to change my hobby title from 'crafting' to 'hoarding'.  And that's just sad.  So here I go ...

All things shown are also listed on Etsy.  If interested in a product and you contact me through this blog (meaning I know you in some capacity), you will receive an automatic 25% discount just for being awesome.  Referring other awesome people to me will also earn you more lovely perks.  Remember, all things are custom ordered to your specifications.

I love this - simple yet unique. I added the 'smitten' as an afterthought - not sure which I prefer more.

I would call this 'heavy distressed' for those who are curious

No good straight on picture for this - the photos here don't quite catch the true colors - this is my favorite window piece.  Finishing a verse I transferred onto burlap to add to this - will hang in my dining room above the buffet Matt made - thank you, Ana White!

'medium distressing'

Again, not the best picture, but you get the idea. We made this for my parents for their Anniversary. So fun to make.  I would call this 'light distressing' for those asking ;)

I really need to get me some punkins' and cornstalks!

A lot of these wooden signs have a lot of personal meaning to me. I can only imagine some of these words/phrases speak to you in certain ways as well.
